all of our boats can tube and ski because they have

a  minimum of 140 hp.  motors.

• Come to  Nantahala Lake Marine 106 Old Rocky Branch Rd just off  Wayah Rd. First we do your paperwork then take a 3 minute drive to the Rocky Branch Public Boat Launch on Alpine Shores  There, we will launch your rental boat and give you safety boating instructions  explain in detail the boats operation.  Be at Nantahala Lake Marine 20 minutes before your scheduled launch time. Please be on time. You will return the boat to the Rocky Branch Boat Launch where we will take it out of the water.

 

• We offer only  multi day rentals with discounted rate.

• All  of our boats have at least the minimum of 140 hp motors.

• OUR BOATS ARE CLEAN,COMFORTABLE AND WELL MAINTAINED. 

• MAKE SURE YOU GET THE HORSE POWER THAT YOU NEED 

• There are no refunds once you take the boat because of weather.  

• We do not rent kayaks or canoes...motor boats only. 

• We do not rent Jetskis.

• We rent Pontoons, Tritoons,  Hurricane Deck Boats  Ski Boats for tubing and skiing. 

• RENTER PAYS 3% NC TAX AND GAS AND OIL USED.

• We also rent skis, tubes, knee boats and wake boards. 

• Your boat comes with the gas tank full and you will be charged for the amt used from full tank. 

• Prices subject to change w/o notice. 

We launch and take out your boat at Rocky Branch Boat Launch. 

  Excellent boater safety instructions  and lake map will help you enjoy your boat with

confidence and ease! 

Free tube and rope on all multi day rentals!

• Return the boat free of debris, mud or food. If it is dirty enough to required pressure washing there will be a minimum $35. charge. Reasonable use is acceptable.

• NO PETS WITHOUT SPECIFIC PERMISSION. 

• Late returns are charged $25. per 15 minutes.  

• All motor boat rentals require a credit card to guarantee your reservation along with a signed contract before you depart in the boat.

• Renter is responsible for damage costs to boat including damage to propeller. (Stay out of rocky shallow areas)   Ropes and Tubes are subject to damage costs as well. 

• Nantahala Lake Marine and RV Inc. is not responsible for injuries, accidents, potential life threatening damages or damages to the boat   All rentals come with life preservers and safety equipment as required by the NC Wildlife Commission. ​

• Reserve with credit card  Call for a reservation.

• Cancellations will be accepted at the time of rental in the case of bad weather at our location.

• Cancellation policy: All reservations are final. A one week cancellation notice is required to avoid a 50% rental charge.​

• No Rain Checks or Discounts will be given after the boat leaves the dock.

• Any problems with the boat must be called in to Nantahala Lake Marine  828-321-2628  promptly.

• Any person born after January 1, 1988  must complete a NSBLA approved boating  education course before operating any vessel propelled by a motor driven boat over 10 HP.   G.S.75A-16.2 Go to www.boat-  ed.com/northcarolina to take the course. The exception is your  rental contract on board. This allows the contract person to drive the boat.  

• Anyone fishing over 16 must have a fishing license. Purchase on line at ncwildlife.org. or at our local bait and tackle store Bryants Bait and Tackle on Wayah Rd. 828-321-2371.
